I am fundraising in support of Brigadoon Village! Help me send kids to camp! Now, more than ever, kids need a place to go where they can learn strength and resiliency while having fun:)

June 15, 2025: The closure of the Acadia Pool is a huge loss to the community and to me personally; it was my “training ground” for life. The loss of a facility and programming that benefits the health and well being of so many emphasizes to me how important it is to support other organizations and programming that do the same. Brigadoon Village benefits so many children by providing a safe, adventurous place for them to have fun while learning to become strong and resilient. Kids from Atlantic Canada attend camp on a “pay as you can” model. Please help me fundraise to directly help more kids go to camp!

June 25,2025: I am missing the ease and convenience of swimming at the Acadia Pool, but open water swimming is beautiful and obviously important training towards the ultimate goal of swimming from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island! Getting to the open water takes a bit more time and safety planning around my shift work and other responsibilities. I am also having some issues with pollen allergies and chaffing! Despite these challenges though, I am happy to be in the open water and proud to say I did 10km today before night shift:)
