Brigadoon's Mission: Brigadoon Village passionately transforms the lives of Atlantic Canadian children and youth living with health conditions and other life challenges to help them reach their full potential through experiential learning, meaningful connections and exceptional fun.
Brigadoon's Vision: Giving extraordinary kids a chance to be ordinary.
I teamed up with the BIG SWIM group in 2024 as a kayaker, being a food, water and safety person for the swimmer I was following. I was inspired by these athletes who put a lot of time and many months of training in the pool and open water to prepare for this amazing event to swim from New Brunswick to PEI. Not only did they put in a lot of time for training but also fundraising for this awesome camp for kids who would never be able to go to a camp like other kids. With your help, we can make this amazing thing happen for these kids.
This year I decided to do the swim and be a part of this awesome event in helping these kids have an amazing time.
