I am going out of my comfort zone and  attempting the Big Swim this year! This will be my longest swim yet! Brigadoon is such a special organization and I am excited to raise funds to send more chronically ill kids to camp so they can connect with peers who understand the unique challenges of their condition while simultaneously having a chance to just be a kid and enjoy camp! 

As co-founder of GIVETOLIVE (the organization partnering with Brigadoon to organize the event) I felt that the shorter distances this year gave me a chance to participate after many years of volunteering at and participating in the strategic planning around the event. 

Switching to the location of Brigadoon this year is a perfect chance to visit the incredible location and experience the camp just like the kids who benefit from the funds we raise.
