Brigadoon's Mission:

Brigadoon Village is a kid's summer camp located in the Annapolis Valley. The camp is specially designed and staffed to accommodate youth living with health challenges. Each week throughout summer will focus on supporting a specific health condition such as celiac disease, heart disorders, epilepsy, and cancer. 

The Event:

The Big Swim has been an annual event since 2012 and has raised over $1.5M for Brigadoon. This year on July 28th a group of 40+ swimmers will take on the challenge of completing the 13km crossing from New Brunswick to Prince Edward Island alongside the Confederation Bridge. The swim is estimated to take 5 hours and may be as long as 18km depending on tides and current.

Donations:

I will be one of 40 + swimmers participating in this year's event and am asking for donations in support of the fundraising effort. 100% of funds collected will go directly to Brigadoon Village.
