Join us for The BIG SWIM 2025

The BIG SWIM will take place July 26-27, where swimmers will brave the Northumberland Strait!


Register as a swimmer, kayaker, or helper for the event! All funds raised through The BIG SWIM go towards Brigadoon Village’s campers and ensure they have a week of exceptional fun in a safe environment.


The BIG SWIM is hosted by GIVETOLIVE and thrives to inspire people to live happy and healthy lives through generosity, fitness, and the achievement of the extraordinary. GIVETOLIVE has hosted The BIG SWIM for 12 years in support of Brigadoon Village and has raised more than $1.7 million for our campers in doing so.

*Registration fee is non-refundable.

*Please, note there is no guarantee of a crossing at The BIG SWIM if conditions do not allow a safe passage for participants and volunteers. If deemed necessary there may be route changes made on event weekend, with little notice. These decisions are at the discretion of our experienced Safety Officer and his team. There is no back-up date for The BIG SWIM.

Fundraising:
Each swimmer must raise a minimum of $1,500. Kayakers are encouraged to also fundraise. All funds go to support Brigadoon Village.

Safety Requirements:
Every swimmer must be accompanied by a Paddle Canada Level 1 Certified kayaker or higher. It is the responsibility of the swimmer to acquire a qualified kayaker and without one, they will not be permitted to swim. Each kayaker is required to acquire the necessary safety gear, as recommended by our Water Operations Director
